skarbiec shares
See every share that ends on its own, and end the ones whose moment has passed without waiting for the next maintenance pass.
Invocation#
skarbiec shares
skarbiec shares expirePurpose#
See every share that ends on its own, and end the ones whose moment has passed without waiting for the next maintenance pass.
Required inputs and options#
- No input lists; expire acts. Both read the share_until section share --until writes.
Output and state effects#
- shares prints ok and shares: item, uid, until and ended, soonest end first, and changes nothing. shares expire revokes every ended share whose recipient still reads the item, exactly as revoke does with every saved version rewrapped, forgets the ones whose item or reader is already gone, saves once, appends a shares-expired journal record, and prints ok, revoked, already_gone and failed (item, uid and error, kept for the next pass); ok is false when any failed. maintain runs expire every pass on a vault that is not a replica. POST /v1/operator/shares lists and POST /v1/operator/shares/expire expires; Desktop's Settings → Policy shows both as Timed shares.
Refusals#
- An unknown subcommand exits 2 naming the two forms. expire on a replica is refused with `this vault replicates bond <name> from <source>; a direct shares expire here is replaced by the next pull`. A section that is not an object of items and recipients is refused naming it.
