skarbiec browser status

Purpose#

See whether the autofill extension is connected on this machine, and which piece is missing when it is half connected.

Required inputs and options#

• No arguments.

Output and state effects#

• Prints ok, consumer, connected (true only when the grant, the token file and both manifests are all there), grant, logins_not_covered (the live logins the grant does not reach because they were added after it was minted), token_file and native_messaging_manifests, each with its path and present. It changes nothing; browser install repairs whatever is missing and covers every login there is then. POST /v1/operator/browser-host answers the same; Desktop's Settings → Policy shows it as Browser autofill.

Refusals#

• Refuses an unset HOME, and fails naming the path when a file's presence cannot be examined; an absent file is an answer, not an error.
