CLI command

skarbiec audit list

Read the append-only audit journal in chronological order, filtered by operation, consumer, item, and inclusive time bounds when those are given.

Invocation#

Shell
skarbiec audit list [--op <operation>] [--consumer <name>] [--item <id>] [--since <iso>] [--until <iso>] [--limit <N>]

Purpose#

Read the append-only audit journal in chronological order, filtered by operation, consumer, item, and inclusive time bounds when those are given.

Required inputs and options#

  • Every filter is optional. Without --limit every match is returned; --limit keeps the newest positive N matches in oldest-to-newest order. With no filter, --limit reads only the journal's tail.

Output and state effects#

  • Prints matched (every match), returned, and entries, without decrypting any credential or changing the journal. POST /v1/operator/audit takes the same fields; Skarbiec Desktop's snapshot and Journal screen read it.

Refusals#

  • Refuses a non-whole or zero --limit and propagates malformed journal lines rather than silently skipping them.
