Invocation#

skarbiec credential endpoint declare <url>

Purpose#

Declare the canonical Skarbiec endpoint used by remote credential commands.

Required inputs and options#

• Requires one positional URL: the canonical Skarbiec's address from this machine. The marker it writes is the one Stado's service directory materializes from the registry, so the ordinary way it comes to exist is stado service directory publish; an address given here is the operator's own word.

Output and state effects#

• Creates/protects the forwards directory, atomically writes an owner-only forward file, re-reads it through the canonical parser, and prints forward, endpoint, authority, answering and connect_error.

Refusals#

• Refuses without a URL with `usage: credential endpoint declare <url>: the canonical Skarbiec's address from this machine; stado service directory publish writes the same marker from the fleet's declaration`; refuses non-absolute, path-bearing, non-numeric-port, non-loopback HTTP, or unsupported HTTPS endpoints; whether a valid endpoint currently answers is reported separately.
