Invocation#

skarbiec browser install [--binary <path>]

Purpose#

Connect the autofill extension to this vault on macOS.

Required inputs and options#

• --binary names the skarbiec binary the browsers start; without it the running binary is used.

Output and state effects#

• Issues the skarbiec-browser-host grant for exact login fields until revoked, writes its bearer to ~/.local/state/skarbiec/browser-host-token owner-only, and writes the Chrome and Firefox native-messaging manifests naming the binary and the extension ids (Chrome's from deploy/chrome-extension-id, Firefox's from the extension's own manifest). Prints the consumer, the token file, both manifest paths and both extension ids.

Refusals#

• Refuses any platform but macOS, an unset HOME, and a --binary that is not a regular file.
